As a the social studies kumu at Ke Kula o Ehunuikaimalino, a public, Hawaiian Immersion school on the j
trona side of Moku o Keawe (Hawai'i Island), I do not agree with Resolution 568-20! This is a complete
waste of money and resources. In the annals of history,the TMT project and any support of it, will be
viewed as one of the most hewa and egregious acts in Hawaiian history. The support needs to stop
immediately from the county government. We should not bail out the mayor and his bad decisions
already made, we need reparation for Hawaiians first. The addendum which was also added, "unlimited
future expenses" is absolutely insane. What kind of government would approve any measure with this III
type of language? Take care of kanaka apau (all people) on Moku 'o Keawe, not just investors and I
politicians backing them.
