Submitting Written Testimony: The Council encourages the public to submit thoughts, comments, and input via written testimony. CALL TO ORDER —12:18 p.m. ROLL CALL COMMUNICATIONS ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Hawai `i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer PWMTC-21 BILLS FOR ORDINANCES April 22, 2020 Bill 157: AMENDS CHAPTER 23, ARTICLE 2, SECTION 23-10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO DEFINING, ACQUIRING, AND IMPROVING ALTERNATE, CONNECTIVITY, EVACUATION, AND MASS TRANSIT ROUTES ISLAND -WIDE Lists certain private roadways in the Puna district which the County would be required to acquire and improve to dedicable standards to be used as alternate, evacuation, and mass transit routes in order to decrease traffic congestion, facilitate connectivity between subdivisions, and provide emergency access. Each video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item. Video submittals may contain up to three individual testifiers and shall each be up to three minutes in length. Video testimony will not be played during the meeting; however, it will be distributed to Council Members prior to the meeting.
