Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 580-20, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 580-20, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 869
dated April 2, 2020, authorizes the Office of the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Hawai`i
Technology Development Corporation.
This resolution authorizes matching funds in the amount of$20,000 to Hawai`i Technology Development
Corporation, a program of the State Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism, for
the NI3 project to provide technical and business assistance to small and early-stage companies.
There was no discussion.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 580-20 and
recommends its adoption.
