SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT: - r
Kamani Street, Pikake Street— STOP INTERSECTIONS
We request .Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 2, Section 24-264, Schedule 12 (Stop
intersections) subsection (d), Ka`u, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as
amended), is amended by adding a new listing to be appropriately inserted and to read
as follows:
"Kamani Street, Pikake Street Intersection, all approaches"
The purpose of this amendment is to have a four-way stop intersection at the
intersection of Kamani and Pikake Streets to improve safety for pedestrians utilizing the
crosswalks.
