REPRESENTATIVE AND ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE TO SERVE ON
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE HAWAII STATE ASSOCIATION
OF COUNTIES.
Please find attached a resolution to appoint Hawaii County Council Members to the Hawaii
State Association of Counties Executive Committee.
Due to the time-sensitive nature of this resolution, I am requesting a waiver from the appropriate
Committee for placement on the next Council meeting. Thank you.

RE: Resolution No. 616-20 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE HAWAII
COUNTY COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE AND ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE
TO SERVE ON THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE HAWAII STATE
ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES.
Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Governmental Relations and Economic Development to the full
Council for immediate action. In reviewing this matter,timely approval is crucial. It is therefore
advantageous that approval is granted and the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for
review. However, in the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the
matter shall be referred to the Committee on Governmental Relations and Economic
Development for placement on its future agenda.
