Re: Resolution Transferring Funds Enclosed is a resolution to transfer$4,000 out of the Liquor Control Public Programs account and credit it to the Legislative Contingency Relief account. Grant funds in the amount of$4,000 were provided to Exploration Foundation with,Contingency Relief funds via Resolution No. 507-20 in the amount of$2,000 and Resolution No. 529-20 in the amount of$2,000. These funds were intended for entry fees for the West Hawai`i Explorations Academy's Sharkbots robotics team to participate in the San Diego Reginal Robotics tournament that has since been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The department is requesting that the funds be returned to the Legislative Contingency Relief account. The Department of Liquor Control requests that this resolution be waived from Finance Committee and be placed on the May 20, 2020 Council agenda in order to expedite the transfer of these funds.
