HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 621 Draft 01 2018-2020 .OJ10YOFN,fy,, COUNTY OF HAWAII ••f �''�''�� t�- STATE OF HAWAII • ,rE OF�MF'� RESOLUTION NO. 621 20 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT FOR SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AND USER SUPPORT WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and WHEREAS, the Department of Human Resources, Workers' Compensation Division currently utilizes David Corporation's Ventiv Claims software; and WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a new three (3) year, multi- year software maintenance and user support agreement with David Corporation in order to secure a lower cost; and BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a three (3) year agreement for the software maintenance and user support as described above, for the Department of Human Resources. 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, Department of Human Resources, and the Finance Department.
