Dear Finance Committee Chair David, Vice Chair Richards and Finance Committee members.
I ask that you support Resolution 604-20 that will allow PATH to continue operating the
bikeshare systems in Kona and Hilo. This funding will allow the continuation of the free
bikeshare membership throughout 2020 and will help with plans to add bikeshare stations at
Hawaii Community College and UE Hilo.
During this free membership time, I have been able to get in exercise. Which has helped me
keep strong mentally and physically during this challenging time with COVID.
My bike rides in Hilo and Kona have brought me great joy and happiness and has saved me from anxiety and
depression.
I was able to ride to get me food and other necessities as well when I did not have access to car.
Please help us by helping them!
