Dear Finance Council members,
I just want to say how great this Bike Share program has been during this pandemic! My husband and I biked
yesterday along Alii and it was like a shot in the arm for our marriage after being cooped up with our family in
our small condo! We saw three other friends biking while we were out there. They all had smiles on their faces.
One was a 50- something widow, one a 20- something and one about thirty. Please vote for the bill to keep this
Bike Share happening. If we say we are a Blue Zones area, then regular biking and increasing this in more areas
goes with that commitment we made to Blue Zones. This program rocks! Thank you for making it free during
this time. It has been a boon for our community!
