Now we need you to support the passage of Bill 169, Draft 2.
It is crucial to our residents to have affordable housing, including fair property taxes. The tax burden cannot be
put on their shoulders and expect them to survive. Many, struggling to pay mortgages on unemployment
income, will lose their homes due to foreclosures with an added tax burden.
Our county cannot afford to have more homelessness.
Oahu has a similar tax structure except their second tier is for $1 million second homes instead of$2 million.
