SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 144, Draft 3; Proposed OP Budget for FY20-21
Below is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 144, Draft 3, regarding the proposed Operating
Budget for fiscal year 2020-2021. The County will be awarded a Federal grant from the
Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance. The Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental
Funding Program allows funds to be used for preventing,preparing for, and responding to the
Coronavirus.

This proposed amendment would amend the General Fund revenue and expenditure accounts as
follows:
• Adds anew revenue account BJA Coronavirus Emer Supp Fund Pgm for$246,300; and
• Adds in Police a new expense account BJA Coronavirus Emer Supp Fund Pgm for
$246,300, which includes object codes 115, 235, and 454.
