RESOLUTION NO. 669 20
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR PARK IMPROVEMENTS AT EXISTING
PARKS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW PARK FACILITIES IN COUNCIL
DISTRICT 9.
WHEREAS, there are many improvements that need to be implemented in existing
parks, as well as a need for new and/or upgraded park facilities in Council District 9; and
WHEREAS, these improvements include, but are not limited to, fencing, gates, facility
renovations, and other necessary and appropriate improvements; and
WHEREAS, development of new park facilities may include, but is not limited to,
planning and design, environmental assessments, and construction; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation for park improvements at existing parks and the development of new park
facilities in Council District 9.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
