I am writing in support of Resolution 631-20 allowing installation and maintenance of small wireless facilities on County
owned utility poles. With advanced technology, local internet network usage demands have exploded. The recent
pandemic,with enforced work at home requirements has not only exacerbated that but has clearly demonstrated the
wave of the future and the shortcomings of our current network structure. The economies of both the immediate and
the more extended future, as well as the development of a trained workforce,depend on digital access,as does public
safety. To limit that in any way limits the future of Hawaii Island. Please support this resolution.
