I support Resolution 631-20 to allow installation and maintenance of small wireless facilities on County owned utility
poles. With advanced technology, local internet network usage demands have exploded. Our rural parts of the island
are especially hampered when they do not have good connectivity.The recent pandemic,with enforced work-at-home
and school-at-home requirements have not only exacerbated connectivity limitations, but have clearly demonstrated
the wave of the future and the shortcomings of our current network structure. The economy both now and in the more
extended future,as well as the developing a trained workforce,depend on digital access. Public Safety is also dependent
on internet connectivity.To limit this connectivity in any way limits the future of Hawaii Island. Please support this
resolution.
