Re: Creating Account Number
On June 14, 1999, an arc welder was stolen from the golf course maintenance
shop. For the fiscal year 1999-00, the Golf Course Fund has no equipment
account. Enclosed is a resolution creating an equipment account so that a
replacement arc welder can be purchased.

B. BACKGROUND AND NSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDEDI:
The Hilo Municipal Golf Course needs to replace a Thunderbolt Arc Welder that was
stolen on June 14, 1999 from its maintenance shop.
The arc welder is needed to repair the vehicles and equipment used in the daily
maintenance of the course. There is no backup arc welder, therefore welding jobs and
projects have been postponed.
Purchasing a replacement is more cost efficient than renting. The arc welder stolen was
originally purchased in 1988.
