I hereby certify that the following Bills passed first
reading at the meeting of the County Council on December 15, 1995,
by vote as listed below:
BILL 105 : An Ordinance amending Chapter 2, Hawaii County Code 1983 ,
by adding a new article to provide for the establishment of a
Geothermal Relocation Program and Geothermal Royalty Fund.
AYES: Councilmembers Arakaki, Childs, De Lima, Domingo, Osorio,
Rath, Ray, and Smith - 8 . NOES: Chairwoman Bonk-Abramson - 1.
BILL 177: An Ordiance amending Ordinance 95-81, as amended, the
Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for theFiscal Year ending
June 30, 1996, by increasing revenues of $45,500 in the Federal
Grant - Sobriety Checkpoint account; and appropriates sameto the
Sobriety Checkpoint account. AYES: Councilmembers Arakaki, Childs,
De Lima, Domingo, Osorio, Ray, Smith, and
Chairwoman Bonk-Abramson - 8 . NOES: None.
ABSENT & EXCUSED: Councilmember Rath - 1.
BILL 535 (Draft 5) : An Ordinance providing for public access to the
shoreline and mountain areas, by adding a new chapter to the Hawaii
County Code. AYES: Councilmembers Arakaki, Childs, De Lima,
Domingo, Osorio, Rath, Ray, Smith, and
Chairwoman Bonk-Abramson - 9 . NOES: None.
