I have a daughter and son that are around the ages that I see have recently gone missing. I also have gone to a conference on Sex Traffic awareness and have gotten information about the data and how it's much more difficult in Hawaii due to the fact that many of the families are using their own family members need funds to support their families by trafficking them out. However, I do know that there is an attempt by homeland security and other organizations that are trying to change policies and help these victims to get out of these situations that go under the radar. I just think that collaborating with the community and these organizations and the colleges may help improve the awareness and development of programs like an amber alert or more things rather than social media to bring about what leads up to these incidents would be much more helpful to our community and keep them safe.
