The funds will be used towards cleaning and sanitation measures, tennis supplies and other tennis -related reopening expenses. Enclosed is a bill for an Ordinance to appropriate $2,000 from private contributions. The Department of Parks & Recreation is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the July 22, 2020 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds. Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above -referenced matter be waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action.
