I am writing this letter as a plead to you to suuport Bill 150 and rezone Mr. Vincent Tai's
property back to its original RS 7.5 zoning. My mother is a long time homeowner in the
Hualalai Subdivision and is now in her elder years. She suffers from health conditions that limit
her mobility to her home. How stressful for her and our family that she is threatened by the
overgrown property adjacent to hers that has been neglected for the past decade. How can Mr.
Tai be so cruel that he does not care for her safety? That he neglects to maintain his trees and the
chaos they cause to her property. Overgrown trees that threaten her home, rubbish from the trees
including broken branches that she can trip on, and roots that pose problems with her sewer
system. Shame on Mr. Tai for treating his neighbors with such disrespect.
I have spoken with my neighbors and many of us have requested of Mr. Tai to be a good
neighbor and remove these hazards. His blatant disregard of our health and safety is
alarming. For these reasons, our family is asking that you proceed with the reversal of his
zoning to its original zoning of RS -7.5. He has proven that he is not a man of honor and is not
concerned about the health and safety of the community.
