My name is Roy Toma and live at 44 Hale Nani St. which is bordered with Mr. Tai's property.
am one of the original owners. Mr. Tai is not a good neighbor. He failed to safely maintain his
property and I am concerned for my family & elderly neighbor's safety from falling trees &
branches. On the night of January 13, 2020, heavy wind & rain broke a branch and landed 5 ft
from my home. I give my thanks to the Dept. of Public Works for identifying the tall dangerous
trees. I need to constantly climb my 8 ft. ladder to clean the cluttered gutters of leaves, seeds
& small branches and am 80 yrs. old.
Whenever I do yard work under the trees I must look up for any dead branches.
I recommend that his application be denied and change zoning back to RS7.5.
