Aloha e Hawaii county council,
I am a proud resident and educator in Hawaii county. I support the resolution to stop the deployment of 5G in
Hawaii.
With over 20,000 peer reviewed articles, it would be negligent on our behalf to ignore the science and facts that
outline the dangers of 5G on human health. I for one have been studying this for over a year and believe that the
advancement of technology should never take precedence over a human life.
Our keiki, Kupuna and kanaka have worked diligently to build and maintain a sustainable economy. 5G will not only
ruin what makes Hawaii island beautiful and unique, but will also cause long term damage to the health and well-
being of the people. The numbers don't lie. The areas with the most towers and deployment of 5G have had a
significantly larger number of covid cases. This is not to say that 5G is the underlying cause of Covid-19, but 5G does
have a negative effect on the immune system.
I admonish you to reconsider the decision to deploy 5G. Many people are unaware of the long term damage caused by
microwave radiation as well as the fact that this technology even exists.
It is not as simple as turning off a light switch, leaving the room, or putting your phone on airplane mode. 5G is a
blanket technology that will affect you no matter where you are or where you go.
