We are writing in strong support of Resolution 678-20 to stop 5G deployment until it can be proven safe. Despite
what telecommunications lobbyists have said, you have the power and authority to regulate 5G.
Many places are issuing moratoriums on 5G or banning it outright.For example, the entire nations of Belgium,
Slovenia, and Croatia; nearly 100 municipalities in Italy; the region of Vaud, Switzerland; the city of Geneva,
Switzerland; over a dozen counties in Ireland; the US cities of Easton CT, and Farragut TN; and the town of Bad
Weissee in Germany. Hundreds of other municipalities, including many in the US, have imposed severe restrictions
or delays on the rollout of 5G.
According to a petition opposing the rollout of 5G, signed by over 26,000 scientists,the evidence that radio
frequency (RF) radiation is harmful to life is already overwhelming. The accumulated clinical evidence of sick
and injured human beings, experimental evidence of damage to DNA, cells and organ systems in a wide variety of
plants and animals, and epidemiological evidence that the major diseases of modern civilization -- cancer, heart
disease and diabetes -- are in large part caused by electromagnetic pollution, forms a literature base of well

Lloyd's of London Insurance excludes any compensation for claims "directly or indirectly arising out of, resulting
from or contributed to by electromagnetic fields, electro-magnetic radiation, electromagnetism, radio waves or noise."
Please note that"radio waves" are explicitly included in the exemption and they, specifically the microwave range,
are what enable wireless devices like cell phones, wi-fi, cordless phones, etc. What do they know that we should

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which is tasked with protecting us from wireless radiation
harm, has been overtaken by the telecommunications industry that it is supposed to be regulating. FCC guidelines
have not been updated since the 1990s and are based on science from the 1980s when cell phones and wifi were not in

Firefighters in California are exempt from 5G antennas being installed at fire stations. After producing
medical data indicating neurological damage to all firefighters working out of a station with 5G antennas, the
firefighter's union (IAFF) got the Governor of California to make an exemption for future stations to have

Russian research on labor.atory.ratand 97 persons show biological effects of millimeter radio waves
(mmWaves). This research-'article was published in Russian in 1977, translated by the CIA, and declassified in 2012.
Studies revealed that mmWaves caused changes in the body manifested in structural alterations in the skin and
internal organ, qualitative and quantitative changes of the blood and bone marrow composition and changes in the
conditioned reflex activity, tissue respiration, activity of enzymes participating in the processes of tissue respiration

We have a right to safety and the quiet enjoyment of our streets and neighborhoods. 5G will violate this. We urge you
to please follow the Precautionary Principle and stop the 5G rollout until it can be proven safe by independent
research.
