As a resident, mom, educator, and health professional living in Maui for 26 years, I have major concerns about 5G. The research
I have conducted on 5G pertaining to potential health effects is alarming. The telecom industry has no official studies to report
that 5G is safe for people. However, installers of the systems will tell you there are dangers to humans, and they dare not be
near a tower without massive protective gear. Frequencies can't be seen which makes the side effects illusive to those
experiencing them. The side effects also mimic other conditions so many don't equate living or working near a tower to be
related to the problem. Over time an individual gets more and more ill if they aren't taking protective measures. The only
research that has been conducted is by independent health and environmental advocates who have nothing invested in the
launching of 5G. The question is why would people work tirelessly to stop something if it was not related to a financial benefit?
They do it because of the love in their heart for the people, animals, and ecosystems in their community. They see and
understand that 5G will change this. Hawaii is not the mainland, yes we are remote and those using the internet to conduct
business depend on the Internet, but 3G and 4G worked just fine!We do things differently here, we take our time, we respect
and understand the delicate nature of ecosystems and we aim to protect our Ohana, Kapuna, Keiki, and Aina. 5G should not be
in Hawaii, we need not sell out to outsider corporations anymore. The people have spoken time and time again, this time we
speak out to stop 5G.
