Dear County Council,
We are opposed to Resolution 678-20, because it would hinder our economy during this time of crisis.
There is already abundant evidence that 5G has no effect on human health.
• "Thee international scientific consensus is that there are no known health risks from RF energy at the
low levels approved for everyday consumer use. This includes the expert opinion of the World
Health Organization, the American Cancer Society and the Food and Drug

Hawaii needs to invest in emerging technologies and innovation to diversify our economy, instead of depending on
the travel and leisure markets.
We watched the recent video forum of the candidates. The candidates supported diversifying the economy with
increased investment in emerging technologies and innovation.
• 5G is one of these emerging technologies.
• Adopting 5G will promote innovation.
• 5G has already been researched and has been proven to be safe.
• Early adoption of 5G will attract new small businesses - like software and technology businesses.
Maybe Hawaii can become the next Silicon Beach!

OPERATING IN HAWAII COUNTY TO CEASE THE BUILDOUT OF 5G WIRELESS INFRASTRUCTURE
UNTIL SUCH TECHNOLOGIES HAVE BEEN PROVEN THROUGH INDEPENDENT RESEARCH AND
TESTING TO BE SAFE TO HUMAN HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
