From: Sunniva Maguire Sent: Sunday, July 05, 2020 6:51 PM COUNTY CLERK To: Council Testimony COUNTY OF HAWAI'I Subject: Testimony for Resolution 67820 • RECEIVEDTime 6:51 pM BY dO' Date JUL 0 5 2020 Aloha Mahalo for your time, I am hoping Resolution 67820 gets implemented. When we as people see cause and effect thousands of times we start to make connections hopefully. Living close to cell tower I used to have migraines 80% of the time. As I got a very sensitive professional radio/microwave frequency measuring device and almost eliminated my exposure I do not get migraines anymore. I can imagine it might be difficult to understand the connection between EMF and health when one hasen't personally experienced it. It is apparently common that people around cell towers have a higher degree of disease. Four of my neighbors that were close to that same cell tower recently passed away. When one really starts diving into the science it also shows a strong correlation between diabetes and proximity to cell towers. I think it's important to listen to doctors not on the telecom industry's payroll that have extensive experience in this area and has read the research. Dr. Sharon Goldberg says: "Wireless radiation has biological effects. Period. This is no longer a subject for debate when you look at PubMed and the peer-review literature. These effects are seen in all life forms; plants, animals, insects, microbes. In humans, we have clear evidence of cancer now: there is no question We have evidence of DNA damage, cardiomyopathy, which is the precursor of congestive heart failure, neuropsychiatric effects...5G is an untested application of a technology that we know is harmful; we know it from the science. In academics, this is called human subjects research."—Goldberg To watch this concise five minute video is very educational. Here Dr. Goldberg gives a summary of the health effects of 5G and radio/microwave frequency radiation. hus://www.youtti be.co-t/v,-atc,li` t )c onHnuue 1(k\ ("K() \1 V.A.&:feature-: e 7:b title • These are letters from doctors and scientists worldwide on the health risk of 5G: https://ehtrust.org/small-cells-mini- cel l-towers-health-letters-scientists-health-risk-5 g/ Thank you again for your time There are very few places I can go because even most grocery stores have cell towers right next to them. Other people with my condition have reversed it but it takes a few years of very low exposure they say. There is one beach I can go to and that is the only place I know of that is sufficiently healthy for me. A growing number of people I come into contact with tell me that friends or family are experiencing the same condition. I ask you to please help implement Resolution 678 20 for the future health of the people on this island. • With much appreciation, Sunniva Maguire Comm. No. 1 ' 11 I Ref. To: ?IV, 1 Ref.
