Yagong and Members of the Hawaii County Council from Mayor Billy Kenoi, re:
Nomination of Gail Byrne to the Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources
Preservation Commission (PONC) for Council District 9
Communication No. 1 1- 002: Letter dated February 24, 2011 to Council Chair Dominic
Yagong and Members of the Hawaii County Council from Mayor Billy Kenoi, re:
Recommendations and transmittal of the 2010 Annual Report to the Mayor for PONC
DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE REPORT
Personnel from the Department of Finance will answer any questions from the
commissioners regarding the Commission's budget or any other financial matters.
OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL'S REPORT
Deputy Corporation Counsel Amy Self to provide comments and /or information
relating to matters of concern to the Commission.
CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT
Chairperson Sarah Moon to provide comments and /or information relating to matters
of concern to the Commission.
NEW BUSINESS
➢ Report from commissioners who attended the various Community Development
Plan Committee meetings in respective districts
➢ Commissioners to review and revise the Assessment Criteria Form and discuss
the scoring mechanism on how they base their assessment
➢ Discuss proposed bill to amend Chapter 2, Article 42, Hawaii County Code
1983 (2005 Edition), Sections 2- 217 and 2- 218 relating to the Public Access,
Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Fund
