Call to Order: (Chair) Patricia Walters called the meeting to start at 10:00 am.

Chair Walters stressed to the
Committee, how people with
disabilities need to have their
medical equipment, their
wheelchairs, etc. She also
mentioned that training first
responders is very important.

Director Talmadge had a special
evacuation team to help
individuals with disabilities.
7. Announcements
Jesse Floyd mentioned about the
reverse job fair (anyone with a
disability, looking for a job) Put
on by the American Job Center.
Committee Member Penny
Alcoran mentioned that she is
looking for 2 more particpants for
the Carrigan Foundation Class.
Under the Arc of Kona this
program gets anyone with a
disability job ready by dealing
with the hotel industry.
