Dear fellow County Employees,
RE: Mooheau Bandstand and Mooheau Park
I'm writing to thank everyone in your Departments who took part in today's clean-
up of Mooheau Bandstand and Mooheau Park.
You did a bang-up job, which I believe our community truly appreciates! I
certainly am grateful for the comprehensive operation you undertook from early this
morning, which continues now into the afternoon as I write this.
We also thank Hope Services who coordinated to provide shelter for the
homeless people who were moved from the Bandstand and the Park today. There are
some who did not want any assistance in terms of sheltering.
Your fine work today, and the thorough preparation and thinking that you put into
it, make me so proud to be a County worker. Thank you for going that extra mile, every
one of you.
Aloha,
71— /L-1.
