APPROVAL OF MINUTES – May 14, 2019 meeting 3. FINANCIAL REPORT 4. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS -Statements from the public will be taken throughout the meeting. 5. PRESENTATION a. Mark Crivello – Grazing Management 6. OLD BUSINESS a. Commission Rules and Regulations b. Game Management Plan (GMP) 1. Requesting Hawai’i County Game Management Advisory Commission to create a temporary committee for the Game Management Plan (GMP), to work, consult and advise the Department of Land and Natural Resources, State Game Management Advisory Commission, and to communicate with the hunting community on Hawai’i Island. The Committee on Game Management Plan (CGMP) is to read, review and understand past attempts of the plan, as well as, communicating further updates and County of Hawaiʻi is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. changes to the current plan in review. CGMP will provide a monthly report to the commission until which time its expiration would be the implementation into policy. Four (4) members of the commission and any members of the community must be approved by the chairperson. Nominating: Nani Poglin as Chair and Bronsten Kossow as Vice-Chair. 2. Game Management Plan discussion 7. NEW BUSINESS a. Kawa Fishing Access i. Requesting Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC) information regarding the Kawa Management Plan. ii. 2017 Kawa Resources Management Plan – 3.2.7 Consider designation of a Community – based Subsistence Fishing. 8. ADJOURNMENT (8:30 pm) Next Meeting: Tuesday, July 30, 2019 Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may convene in one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and 92- 5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92- 4 is necessary to hold an executive session. Anyone wishing to discuss an item that does not appear on the agenda should call the commission secretary at 323-4444 or email donna.urban-higuchi@hawaiicounty.gov to have the subject placed on the next available agenda. Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes (hereinafter “HRS”) §92-3.5, the Hawaiʻi County Game Management Advisory Commission will be conducting this Committee meeting via videoconference. Game Management Advisory Commission members will be present at the following location(s), where the public is invited to participate:  Hawaiʻi County Building, Council Chambers, 25 Aupuni Street, First Floor, Suite 1401, Hilo, HI, and  West Hawaiʻi Civic Center, Mayor’s Conference Room, Building C, Second Floor, 74-5044 Ane Keohokālole Highway, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; or Council Conference Room A If audio stream between Hilo and Kona is lost for more than a short period of time, the meeting will be terminated. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, or language interpretation to access this meeting please contact the Office of the Mayor at 323-4444 as soon as possible, but no later than five (5) working days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for accommodations.
