Pāhala Transfer Station Will Close at 9:00 a.m. Today (Friday, July 12, 2019)
The Pāhala Transfer Station will close today at 9:00 a.m. This closure is due to staff
shortages in the Kona and Kaū ʻbaseyards.
Residential patrons may take their household refuse to the Waiōhinu ʻTransfer Station,
which is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Pāhala Transfer Station will reopen as regularly scheduled tomorrow, July 13, 2019
(Saturday), from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
