Keauhou Transfer Station Closed Today,
July 16, 2019, at 8 a.m.
The Keauhou Transfer Station closed today at 8 a.m. This closure is due to
unanticipated staff shortages in the Kona and Kaū baseʻyards.
Residents in the Keauhou area may take their household generated refuse to the
Kealakehe Transfer Station, which is open today between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The Keauhou Transfer Station will reopen tomorrow, July 17, 2019, from 6:00 a.m. to
6:00 p.m.
