KE’EI TRANSFER STATION IS CLOSED TODAY (7/26/19) FROM 8:00 a.m.
The Ke’ei Transfer Station will close at 8:00 a.m. today (Tuesday, 7/30/19) due to
staffing shortages in the Kona Base Yard this morning. The site will reopen as regularly
scheduled on Friday, August 3, 2019, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Until 4:00 p.m. this
afternoon, residents can take their household generated waste to the Keauhou Transfer
Station, which is open seven days a week, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Residents with
household generated green waste can take their waste to the Kealakehe Transfer
Station, which is open seven days a week, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for green waste
disposal.
