Hawaii Fire Commission Meeting Agenda August 21, 2019 Page 2 UNFINISHED BUSINESS Discussion on the commission's oversight of personnel matters of the Fire Department and compliance with the Hawaii County Charter and Hawaii Revised Statutes. Fire Department's presentation on its recruitment process. The commission anticipates convening in executive session regarding the above matter pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (4) (6) for the purpose of consulting with the commission's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the board's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities; and to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety.
