Dear Mayor Inoue:
I am writing to thank you most heartily for your splendid gifts that my
representative, Sister City Coordinator Rose Bautista, brought back from Yurihama
today. You are always so generous and thoughtful, my dear friend.
I am most grateful above all for the wonderful, strong bonds of friendship
between us. You are always welcome to Hawaii County, and hope you will come to
see us in the not too distant future.
Please send your dear wife my fondest regards. It would be wonderful if you and
Mrs. Inoue could plan a visit to Hawai'i Island.
