RE: Exceptional Tree Nomination Grove of Milo Trees located at
Dear Mr. Carse,
Thank you for your letter dated March 16, 2018. As you may know, the Arborist Advisory Committee
(AAC) was still inactive and therefore unable to review your request, at the time of your submittal.
The AAC has reviewed your request to nominate the grove of milo trees, referenced above, as
Exceptional Trees. We appreciate the time that you put into preparing the background information that
accompanied your letter. Please note that the nomination process requires that the following fo s be
completed, signed, and submitted to the Planning Department for review by the AAC:
1. Exceptional Tree Nomination Form (completed by the nominator)
2. Acceptance Form for Exceptional Tree Status (completed and signed by the property owner)
Copies of these forms can be obtained from the County of Hawaii Planning Department or downloaded
using the links above.
Once again, we thank you for taking the time to nominate this grove of trees. We encourage you to
follow up with the appropriate forms and to continue to look for and to nominate additional trees in the
future.
