Submission Details • Deadline: October 21, 2019 • Must also include a brief essay explaining your submission— 250 words or less. • Submit online at: tinyurl.com/recovery-art-contest • Mail* to: Research and Development, 25 Aupuni St. Rm. 1201 Hilo, HI 96720 *If sending by mail, must include name, graduation year, school, and contact information. • Only one entry per person. What can I submit? • Submit a piece of art that answers the prompt: "What does it mean to be Puna + Hawai'i Island strong?" • Must lay flat and able to be scanned into computer. • This artwork can be in a variety of mediums, but must be an image. Get Creative! Possible submissions could include... Photography I Computer graphic I drawing I photo collage or other!
