ORDINANCE NO. 9~8
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO EXCEPTIONAL TREES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 14, Article 10, of the Hawaii County Code,
1983, is amended by adding one grove of approximately 600 mango
trees to the existing list of twenty five exceptional trees, as
follows:
SECTION 14-65. Designated Exceptional Trees.
The following trees are designated as 'Exceptional Trees of the
County of Hawaii':
TAX MAP KEY and
TREE LOCATION OWNER
26. Grove of Mangoes 1-3-08 County of Hawaii
Mangifera indica Pohoiki Road
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material
is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed
material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is
declared invalid, such invalidity skull not affect the other parts
of this ordinance.
SECTION 9 This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
