ADVISORY COMMITEE ISSUE: LONG TERM CARE The 2019 Needs Assessment identified the shortage of in-home care providers as one of our kupunas' greatest unmet needs. At our last meeting, we brought together a panel of educa- tors of nurses' aides, case manager and home service agency staff, and the Hawaii County Office of Aging (HCOA) staff. Workforce issues cannot be dealt with through the Area Plan. So how do we find other ways to address the problem? How can we make progress as the need is only going to grow? 9. LEGISLATIVE ISSUES 10.
