B. FIRE CHIEF DARREN ROSARIO'S LETTER TO THE COMMISSION GIVING
NOTICE OF HIS RETIREMMENT
5. EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED SESSION)
The commission anticipates meeting in executive session to consider charges against
an employee of the Hawaii County Fire Department were matters affecting privacy
will be involved, to work on the Fire Chief's annual evaluation, and may consult with
Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers,
duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2), (4), and the
Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b).
• Complaint HCFC 19-01: Complaint alleged that a firefighter test drove a fire
truck on their easement road to provide evidence and statement for a civil
matter and arbitration proceedings.
• Work on Fire Chief Darren Rosario's Annual Evaluation.

The commission's next monthly meeting is scheduled for February 12, 2020, at 9:00

Hawaii.
