SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION AND
SERVICE CLOSURES TODAY, JANUARY 31, 2020:
• Glenwood Transfer Station closed at 8:00 a.m.
• Laupāhoehoe Scrap Metal and White Goods
• Hilo Scrap Metal and White Goods
• Pāhoa Scrap Metal and White Goods
• Keaʻau Greenwaste, Scrap Metal, and White Goods
Glenwood Transfer Station: It closed at 8:00 a.m. today. It should reopen as regularly
scheduled on Sunday, February 2, 2020, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Laupāhoehoe Scrap Metal and White Goods: These services at the Laupāhoehoe
Transfer Station are closed today. They should reopen as regularly scheduled on Sunday,
February 2, 2020, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Hilo Scrap Metal and White Goods: These services at the Hilo Transfer Station are
closed today. They should reopen as regularly scheduled tomorrow, February 1, 2020,
from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pāhoa Scrap Metal and White Goods: These services at the Pāhoa Transfer Station are
closed today. They should reopen as regularly scheduled tomorrow, February 1, 2020,
from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Keaʻau Greenwaste, Scrap Metal and White Goods: These services are closed today.
Greenwaste services should reopen as regularly scheduled tomorrow, February 1, 2020,
from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Scrap Metal and White Goods services should reopen as
regularly scheduled tomorrow, February 1, 2020, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
