NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a meeting to be held by the Kailua Village Design
Commission of the County of Hawaii in accordance with the provision of Section 92-7,
Hawaii Revised Statutes.

1. The applicant, William McCowatt, is proposing a revision to tenant space Unit B3,
for HICO Coffee, at Building B, Unit B, Brew Lot 12 Kona, on Pawai Place, to
remove a front storefront window and install an overhead glass door that rolls up and
remains open during business hours, and/or down during the hotter parts of the day.
The tenant wishes to have an open-air coffee shop as much as weather will allow.
The proposed door is made of materials matching the dark bronze metal frame and
glass. The color scheme will remain the same as existing Building B, as previously
approved by the KVDC on November 1, 2016 for Phase 1 Kona Brewery Project, to
rebuild 2 new industrial buildings.
