This is a Coronavirus informational update for Saturday, February 8t" at 9 in the morning.
In an effort to contain the virus, the U.S. State Department has issued a Level 4 Travel Advisory to U.S.
Citizens for travel to China. This Level 4 Travel Advisory means do not travel to China.
At this time, the Hawaii State Department of Health has NOT issued an advisory to the general public and
confirms that there are NO cases of the coronavirus in Hawaii.
The County of Hawaii and the State Department of Health are working closely together to keep you safe,
healthy, and informed and encourage you to take preventive measures to reduce risk by doing the following;
• Wash your hands often and with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Cover your cough and sneeze with a tissue and wash your hands after with soap and water.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
• And, avoid close contact with people who are sick.
