This is a Coronavirus informational update for Sunday, February 9t" at 9 in the
morning.
In an effort to contain the virus, the U.S. State Department has issued a Level 4
Travel Advisory to U.S. Citizens for travel to China. This Level 4 Travel Advisory
means do not travel to China.
At this time, the Department of Health has NOT issued an advisory to the general
public and confirms that there are NO cases of the coronavirus in Hawaii.
During this flu season, if you feel sick with flu-like symptoms, the Department of
Health recommends the following measures be taken;
• Stay home from work or school.
• Avoid contact with others.
• Seek medical care with your doctor or emergency room.
• And, before you go to the doctor's office or emergency room, call ahead to
tell them of your symptoms.
The County of Hawaii and the State Department of Health are working closely
together to keep you safe, healthy, and informed. If you need additional
