The County of Hawaii and Department of Health along with other state and federal partners are working closely to keep you safe and informed. The Department of Health Reports: • There are NO cases of the Coronavirus(COVID-19) in the State of Hawaii, and • There are NO Department of Health advisories issued to the general public. Regarding Department of Transportation -Airports status: • Screening efforts continue for international travelers who that have been to China or display signs and symptoms of Coronavirus(COVID-19). AS A REMINDER: The Department of Health recommends everyone 6 months or older to get the flu shot. Symptoms of Coronavirus(COVID-19) are similar to the flu. Reducing the number of flu cases in the community helps decrease the burden on healthcare providers and facilities, having fewer patients with flu-like symptoms makes it easier to detect persons who might have Coronavirus(COVID-19) infection.
