EAST HAWAIʻI REGIONAL SORT STATION IS CLOSED TO
FRONT END AND REAR END COMPACTING LOADED TRUCKS
TODAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2020, AS OF 1:00 P.M.
Due to equipment issues in the Solid Waste Division’s East Hawaiʻi Regional Sort
Station, commercial load services for “front end and rear end” compacting loaded trucks
delivering waste is restricted as of 1:00 p.m. today.
Services should reopen as regularly scheduled tomorrow, February 19, 2020, from 7:00
a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
