Date: February 21, 2020 Time: 1:00 pm Frequency: Every 3 hours Update #: 2 This is a Coronavirus -19 informational update for Friday, February 21 at 1:00 in the afternoon. The Department of Health confirms that there are NO cases of Coronavirus -19 reported in Hawaii at this time. There are No Department of Health Advisories to the general public at this time. The following transportation policies are in effect: • The U.S. State Department Level 4 Travel Advisory for U.S. Citizens prohibiting travel to China remains in effect. • The U.S. temporary entry ban of foreign nationals who have traveled to China in the last 14 days remains in effect. • And, isolation/quarantine policies for U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. from China also remain in effect. AS A REMINDER: The Department of Health reminds the public that there are no specific antiviral treatments or vaccines to prevent Coronavirus -19. The best way to prevent any respiratory illness including the flu and Coronavirus -19 is to practice everyday preventive actions that include: • Stay home when you are sick • Avoid close contact with people who are sick Additionally, your help is needed to prevent rumors about Coronavirus -19. Make sure your information is up-to-date and comes from a credible source.
