CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY <br />MEDIA UPDATE <br />Incident: Coronavirus -19 Update Message <br />This is a Civil Defense message. <br />Date: February 22, 2020 <br />Time: 9:00 am <br />Frequency: Every 3 hours <br />Update #: 1 <br />This is a Coronavirus -19 informational update for Saturday, February 22 at 9:00 in the morning. <br />The following is a Department of Health Update: <br />The Department of Health confirms that there are NO cases of Coronavirus -19 reported in <br />Hawaii and there are No Department of Health Advisories to the public at this time. <br />The following National travel policies are in effect: <br />• The U.S. State Department Travel Advisory for U.S. Citizens prohibiting travel to China <br />remains in effect. <br />• The entry ban of foreign nationals who have traveled to China in the last 14 days <br />remains in effect. <br />• The quarantine policies for U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. from China also remain in <br />effect. <br />AS A REMINDER: <br />The best way to prevent any respiratory illness including the flu and Coronavirus -19 is to <br />practice everyday preventive actions to include: <br />• Take extra measures to keep your hands clean. <br />• Practice cough and sneeze etiquette (maintain distance, cover coughs and sneezes). <br />Additionally, your help is needed to prevent rumors about Coronavirus -19. Make sure your <br />information is up-to-date and comes from a credible source.
