This is a Coronavirus -19 informational update for Saturday, February 22 at 9:00 in the morning.
The following is a Department of Health Update:
The Department of Health confirms that there are NO cases of Coronavirus -19 reported in
Hawaii and there are No Department of Health Advisories to the public at this time.
The following National travel policies are in effect:
• The U.S. State Department Travel Advisory for U.S. Citizens prohibiting travel to China
remains in effect.
• The entry ban of foreign nationals who have traveled to China in the last 14 days
remains in effect.
• The quarantine policies for U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. from China also remain in
effect.
AS A REMINDER:
The best way to prevent any respiratory illness including the flu and Coronavirus -19 is to
practice everyday preventive actions to include:
• Take extra measures to keep your hands clean.
• Practice cough and sneeze etiquette (maintain distance, cover coughs and sneezes).
Additionally, your help is needed to prevent rumors about Coronavirus -19. Make sure your
information is up-to-date and comes from a credible source. For more information regarding
Coronavirus -19, visit:
• Department of Health website at www.health.hawaii.gov or,
• The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website at www.cdc.gov.
