This is a Coronavirus informational update for Sunday, February 23 at 9:00 in the morning. The following is a Department of Health Update: • The Department of Health confirms that there are NO cases of Coronavirus reported in Hawaii. • The Department of Health has no Health Advisories for Hawaii at this time. The following National travel policies are in effect: • The U.S. State Department Travel Advisory for U.S. Citizens prohibiting travel to China. • The Presidential entry ban of foreign nationals who have traveled to China in the last 14 days. • Quarantine policies for U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. from China remains. AS A REMINDER: The best way to prevent any respiratory illness including the flu and Coronavirus- 19 is to practice everyday preventive actions to include: • Staying home when you are sick. • Take extra measures to keep your hands clean. • Practice cough and sneeze etiquette (maintain distance, cover coughs and sneezes). Additionally, your help is needed to prevent rumors about Coronavirus-19. Make sure your information is up-to-date and comes from a credible source.
