This is a Coronavirus informational update for Saturday morning, April 4t"
On the COVID-19 status, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii Island is 25. Of this, 15
have recovered. The remaining 10 are quarantined at their homes and are being monitored by the
Department of Health. At this date, for Hawaii Island, no one infected by the virus had to be
hospitalized.
Be reminded that drive-through screening and testing will be conducted in Hilo at the Hoolulu Complex
on Sunday, April 5t", from 8 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon. For Kona, Mondays and Thursdays at
the Keauhou Shopping Center. Kona is to be commended for their tremendous turnout.
To keep Hawaii safe your help is needed. Do your part to prevent the spread of this disease. We expect
all those who take care of us to always be there. Do your part by following the policies of stay at home,
social distancing, gatherings and traveling. As difficult as it is for Hawaii's culture, no handshakes, no
hugs, no knuckle -to -knuckle, just say "Hi." Let's all work together to make it better.
